Centerplan, a Middletown Connecticut-based company led by President Robert A. Landino, directs investment strategies related to real estate acquisition, development and funding, with an emphasis on adding asset value through repositioning strategies.

The company continues to grow and break new ground, as it is currently developing a variety of residential, retail, and urban properties. Centerplan has recently completed Rite Aids in Southington and North Haven, Connecticut and is redeveloping a former Rite Aid in Middletown for medical and retail use.

Landino said he expects to begin demolition of the two buildings at the intersection: an aging strip mall and another retail building.

“We hope to begin construction in the spring and have it ready to open sometime this fall,” said Landino, whose company owns six Rite Aid locations, including stores in North Haven and East Haven.
